Dear Noah Webster Families,

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!  I am Edward “Gus” Jacobson the Acting Principal and I am excited to start what I know will be a fun and fantastic year of learning.  I join the Noah Webster community from Great Path Academy at Manchester Community College where I served as the Assistant Principal for the past five year.   I am the proud husband of Laura and father of three teenagers Harris, Isabel and Ellen.  This year is my 22nd in education having served as a middle school special educator and high school administrator.  I have been humbled by the welcome from staff and parents and inspired by the enthusiasm for Noah Webster.  We will continue the work of educating your whole child that has been a staple here at Noah Webster.

I am fortunate to have a strong administrative team supporting me.  Richard Skowronski continues to be here as one of our dean of students. Mr. Skowronski is a long time veteran of Noah Webster as a teacher and administrator.  We value his patience and calm demeanor as well as his vast knowledge of the school and its families.

This year we welcome TaLoria Wilson as our second dean of students.  Mrs Willson is passionate about education and brings a wealth of educational experience.  Mrs. Wilson comes to us from Classical Magnet School in Hartford where she was an assistant principaI.  She is a former elementary reading and language arts teacher and a proud mother of a two year old boy.  Mrs. Wilson is looking forward to working with you to make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.

At Noah Webster our vision is that we inspire leaders and prepare ALL students to create their own success in and beyond school.  As a MicroSociety we focus on bringing real life to learning.  Your support as families are critical to reaching this vision and focus.  I look forward to working with you and our staff as partners in the education of your children.  Please stop by and visit and introduce yourself or reach out to me at my email or phone listed below.  We will have a great year together!
